Senior Civil Engineer

Senior  Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years working experience to join a London based Consultancy.
As a company they are a Civil Engineering Design specialist currently involved in projects spanning across Residential Developments, Public Realm, Commercial and Education.

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Principal Engineer with Designing road, rail and masterplanning projects from conceptual to detailed design stage. You will also interface with clients, architects, master planners, specialist design consultants, leading construction contractors, and local authorities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of creating and reading detailed designs of Roads and Drainage for Residential developers and all associated works.

Due to the nature of these designs its vitally important that you have demonstratable experience of the following:

• sectional agreements 104, 38 and 278
• BEng Civil Engineering degree
• Have a minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience to include highway and infrastructure design (highways, drainage, SuDs and utilities), pre and post planning.
• A Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, working towards Chartership
• Undertake project design development and successful delivery to project and client requirements.
• Be proactive in their approach to projects with a proven track record of working independently
• Demonstratable experience within design with Software tools Autodesk
• (Fireworks and Civil 3D) and Microdrainage
