Project Manager
Opportunity for a Project Manager to join an established company who specialise in Civil Engineering & Groundwork Projects across Devon & Cornwall.
Due to a number of new sites starting and increase in workload, the group are seeking a Project Manager to lead a Highways project along the stunning South East coast of Devon for c.8 months.
As the Project Manager, you will oversee and deliver a project worth up to £4m ensuring that it's completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Projects vary and can include residential developments, roads & infrastructure, retaining walls and bulk excavation and surfacing.
Daily duties include:
Due to the nature of the projects its also essential that you have a driving licence as travel in between the sites is essential as well as the following:

- Manage the site team to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Providing any administrative and technical duties, including site supervision, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in preparing and submitting project reports to the Site Manager and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical assistance and support to the site team.
- Assist in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Help in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
Due to the nature of the projects its also essential that you have a driving licence as travel in between the sites is essential as well as the following:
- Degree qualified (industry relevant degree) or equivalent.
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid at Work.
