Gloucester
We’re working with a respected civil engineering consultancy in Gloucester, who are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Senior Civil Engineer.
You’ll play a key role in the technical delivery of a broad range of development infrastructure projects covering drainage, highways, earthworks and utilities while mentoring junior staff and working directly with clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design and delivery of drainage, road, and external works across residential, commercial, retail, and healthcare sectors
 - Overseeing production of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, and utility strategies
 - Producing and reviewing drawings from concept to construction using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and ground modelling tools
 - Managing junior engineers and technicians, supporting development across all levels
 - Contributing to new business development and client relationship management
 
- Confident in drainage design, SuDS and road infrastructure
 - Degree-qualified with 5+ years’ civil engineering consultancy experience
 - Proficient with AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and modelling software
 - Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client engagement
 - Solid understanding of design standards: DMRB, MfS, Sewers for Adoption
