Quantity Surveyor – Exeter
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial performance of projects, ensuring risks are minimised and value is maximised. You’ll take ownership of contract administration, cost reporting, and subcontract management across a section of a major project or several smaller schemes.

We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial performance of projects, ensuring risks are minimised and value is maximised. You’ll take ownership of contract administration, cost reporting, and subcontract management across a section of a major project or several smaller schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee valuations, cost forecasting, and contract compliance.
- Lead on subcontract procurement, payments, and performance.
- Ensure timely submission of claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution.
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, measurement, and valuation.
- Experienced in cost reporting, subcontract management, and final accounts.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to build strong client and supplier relationships.
- RICS membership desirable.
- Proficient with MS Office tools.
- Experience across health, education, mixed-use, or commercial projects is advantageous.
